Why do we like jokes? Well, some very lucky people go through life in the very warm cocoon of good luck and fortune. To those particular folks, perhaps the smile of good fortune never leaves their lips. These folks are a rare breed however, because most of us live anything but that kind of life.
Yes, the rest of us fight wars, get cancer, get into car accidents, lose friends and family to death or illness or worse...we are the ones who need a joke every now and again to balance out the garbage can that life can and often does dump on our heads.
Laugh...and laugh often. Laugh as often as you can. Make someone elses' day a little happier with a smile or good word.
