Why do some people cry when they laugh and others don’t?

It seems to be genetic because my mom, sister, and I all cry when we laugh. My mom and I are much worse though. We don’t even have to be laughing very hard. If we do laugh hard then we’ll have tears pouring down our faces. The only other people I know that do this are my friend and her mom. Most people don’t and they always tease me because they think it’s weird. So why does that happen?

    Why do girls laugh at guys when they get erections?

    I was giving a talk the other day in front of a room full of people. There was a couple really cute girls sitting right in the front row and I could not keep looking at them. Anyway, they ended up giving me an erection and it was really noticeable because I was wearing slacks. And to make matters worse it would not go down. All the girls in the room started to giggle and laugh and the one of the cute girls even threw an eraser at my crotch when I was done talking. Why do girls laugh at guys when they get an embarrassing erection?

          Will an audience at a comedy club laugh at a joke because they are expecting to laugh as opposed to random?

          If I was on stage at a comedy club and told a joke to an audience, would the crowd laugh more than they would than if I were to tell it at a random situation like a party or an office meeting because they are in “ready-to-laugh mode” for lack of better terms?
          Kate, can that mode be created without alcohol? If a person pays money to enter a comedy club where they KNOW that they are going to hear jokes and laugh, would that already be enough to put them in a laughing mood?

              Why do Japanese girls cover their mouths when they laugh?

              I’ve noticed Chinese, Taiwanese, and Korean girls also do this, but it seems more common among the Japanese.

              My history teacher said because exposing your teeth is considered rude? therefore they cover their mouths to hide their teeth when they laugh??? …and now its become an unsubconscious reaction?

                My dog makes me laugh all the time, do you think they ever want to laugh at us, like when we trip and fall?

                I like to think my little mutt thinks i’m amusing, like she is to me.

                What would it be like, if they could laugh like us, that would be weird. Funny, but weird. Kind of like that dumb skittle commercial with the yodeling rabbit.

                  Sometimes when I laugh, my cat looks at me with a straight face and then I wonder how serious his perception of life must be. I’ve observed that cats express the same emotions as humans except for laughter. Laughing is extremely satisfying and it seems as if cats are missing out on such a wonderful feeling.

                    I don’t mean people who cry when they laugh too much-I do that all the time! I mean people who’s laugh sounds like someone elses cry noises. Like when you cry a lot and start blubbing.

                    Just heard a girl in my office laughing like this. It’s weird.
