I notice that Asian woman especially on tv, cover their mouth whenever they laugh. Why is that? Why can’t they just laugh normally. Asian men don’t do that so why do the woman?

A friend of mine and I will be sitting in the second row, and I don’t want to laugh or smile and the cameras or the comedian catches a glimpse of my teeth.
